I'm reading Sunday's at Tiffany's by James Patterson. I don't know if I'm posting this on the right page.
Jane has a birthday party planned by her mother. This was right after her mom's huge Broadway show that was a huge success. She was upset because the only people invited were adults that she didn't even know. They were mostly from the show Her mom even forgot her birthday. Somehow Michael got the piano player to get everyone to sing happy birthday to Jane. That was the one time on this day that Jane felt good. The thing she wanted most for her birthday way a dog. Her dad finally shows up that she never gets to see because her parents are divorced. He brought his hot wife there because they were going to go to Jane's favorite place. She thought they invited her but they didn't and she was very disseminated. Jane just knows his present will be a dog. It was a dog but it was a stuffed poodle. Jane almost cries because nothing is going right. She runs up to her room shuts the door and starts crying. Michael comes in to check on her. He sees her crying and is very sad because he's going to give her even worse news. He has to leave forever. He explains to her that when a girl or boy doesn't feel alone in the world anymore, an imaginary friend has to leave and go to another kid. He also says that she won't really remember him. It will be like a dream. After she is done sobbing Michael disappears like a person in a cartoon. Now Jane is 29 in the next chapter. This is where i left off.
This is still a pretty good book.
