The Road
James
Well write now the boy and the father are still goin straight on the road. they meet this old man on the road. the says they should forget about the man, but the boy think about the old man. the boy gives the old man canned peas and i think yamms. the boy talks to the father about taking the old man along and the father keeps on disagreeing with the boy until he said yes. but the father first ask how old ar you and whats your name. old man said his age was 90 and his name was erl. he comes along with them for about a day and a night. his last night he told them the truth that he was not 90 or his name was erl. he said thanks for every thing and packs up wat he could.
this part of the book was interesting because of the way the father acted. the father became weak i think because the boy kept in asking and because the old man was helpless and weak.
